Vintage Suitcase Keys?
Do keys to vintage suitcases like american tourister and samsonite fit more than one suitcase?
I have a couple of suitcases w/keys and wanted to know if I could try them out on locked suitcases I find at thrift stores and flea markets.

some may work if the lock is old and sloppy. the resin for this the sloppy fit allows the key to move tumblers it ather wise wouldnt if it was a tight fit because the key isnt exactly the same. but you can esialy pick a suitcase lock. all you need is a bobby pin with the tip bent in a zigzag just the tip and then a paper clip with the same bend. insert the pin untill you fell sumthing that gives a bit like a spring. take the paper clip and insert it just above on the thin part of the key hole. push in as if you were trying to slip the pin and clip under teh key hole and pop its open. you can always get a locksmith to attach new bolsters to it. they are just help on with fancy rivots. you drill out the rivets from the inside. and then the new lock bolsters go inplace and a rivit tool reattaches them its only a suit case so thares relly nuthing to it. unless its a security suit case. one with pin locks with a metal casings like you see on moves ware they have these silver cases usually filled with money. those suit cases you have to cut open. anyways good luck!
